Biography

The significance of Danny Love’s work is in his ability to capture the essence of a scene through true color and on-the-spot patience and persistence.  All of DLove’s landscape works are produced on site in natural light.  By avoiding the closed walls of his studio, Danny is able to absorb the scene through all of its elements – its smells, sounds and feelings – and transfer them to the canvas with precision and emotion.

Daniel Loveridge began his painting career during high school, sketching out coastal landscapes in pen on copy paper and scraps of cardboard.  Encouraged by friends and family he began experimenting with proper painting media.  He continued to nurture his talent by pursuing artistic studies while attending Stony Brook University in Long Island, receiving a Bachelors degree in Studio Art in 2004.

Currently working as a full time artist, Danny constantly exercises his creativity with his paintings as well as with music, writing and poetry.
